入夜后天气极度地冷,寒风刺骨。所幸,他们看到我们都很高兴,都很感谢我们的食物,有些甚至和我们闲聊。问起我们读什么时,领队Fabian每次回答读Law时,都会被homeless people不经意地敌视。还好,他们对药师的看法还是正面的,说下次flu会找我。有些人则和读Theology的Catherine聊起了上帝和圣经。
有一位叫Mali的homeless people,说了一番让我深思的话,他说:
“We are not stupid, I got 5 A-levels and I know 4 languages. But in a way, we are stupid because we ended up here, with the floor as bed and the sky as TV。”
他说他以前的梦想是要做牧师,从没想到会落到路宿街头的命运。他开玩笑地示范了他当牧师的样子。
他又继续说好几个homeless people最近冷死了,他说很多homeless people很难回头了,很多涉及alcohol abuse, drug abuse, prostitution等等。当那些字眼从他口中说出时,我不寒而栗,毕竟自己这么多年来都只是躲在知识象牙塔和书的世界里。
有一个homeless people这样对我说:
“When you become pharmacist, don't forget me"
有些事,你经历后,或你看过后,就再也回不到以前的你了。
