Beginner's Guide =)

26日，我一个在Melbourne大学读书的好朋友在facebook和我分享一本书“The Beginner's Guide to Winning the Nobel Prize”，她说她最近遇到该作者Peter C.Doherty，并且得到签名。她以开玩笑地方式说该书让她one step closer to her nobel prize dreams...



我当时看到她share的照片，首先是笑了，因为封面的设计太可爱了！真的很有beginner的感觉，婴孩，哈哈 =)

Peter Doherty是因为研究how T cells recognize their target antigens in combination with major histocompatibility complex (MHC) proteins而得了1996年Nobel Prize in Medicine。

然后，我发现我的大学图书馆竟然有该本书！！ （原来大学图书馆有4百万本书不是吹牛的，哈哈）



于是，我就去借了这本书。它现在就在我书桌上，我会尽量尝试抽时间读这本书。





犹记得2010年12月1日, 我在我大学听了Dr Tim Hunt的talk：“Lessons from a Life of Science: How to get a Nobel Prize",他的talk很inspiring =)... Dr Tim Hunt因为发现了cyclin而在2001年得了Nobel Prize in Medicine.. 回想起来，还挺高兴的。

希望这本Beginner's Guide也会让我得到启发。
