Hall of fame

今年Induced pluripotent stem cell technology拿到Nobel Prize in Medicine。还记得两年前在Sir Tim Hunt（2001年Nobel Prize得主）的talk，Sir Tim Hunt回答我的问题时有提到Shinya Yamanaka的induced pluripotent stem cell突破。Everyone knew this induced pluripotent stem cell technology going to win a nobel prize, and so it did.... =)

2012年的Nobel Prize in Chemistry颁给了最早研究出G-Protein Coupled Receptor (GPCR)的科学家。GPCR是很重要很重要的drug target, 毕竟市场上超过50%的药都是act on GPCR。i am just surprised that  it took so long time for GPCR to get recognition that it truly deserved.

今年的诺贝尔文学奖花落于中国作家莫言。很酷的笔名。莫言。方块字！
